Hours: 08:30 – 17:00, Monday to Friday

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Sales Administrator to join our team in Ellesmere Port. Supporting the sales function, you will play a key role in managing customer enquiries, processing orders, preparing quotations and ensuring a high standard of customer service. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and building strong relationships with both customers and colleagues.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and issue accurate quotations in response to customer enquiries.
Process sales orders and manage them through to completion.
Act as a key point of contact for customers, providing updates on orders, deliveries and lead times.
Deliver excellent customer service, resolving queries and escalating issues where appropriate.
Build and maintain positive relationships with customers.
Maintain accurate customer, quotation and order records within CRM and ERP systems.
Provide administrative support to the sales team.
Liaise with production, purchasing, logistics and warehouse teams to coordinate order fulfilment.
Monitor order progress and communicate any delays or issues to relevant stakeholders.

What We're Looking For

Previous experience in a sales administration or similar administrative role.
Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
A proactive approach with strong problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong numerical skills and attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Experience using CRM systems and Sage software.
