Duranta Energy is committed to sustainable waste management and renewable energy production. We are seeking two skilled and motivated Operators to join our feedstock processing team and contribute to our mission of converting organic waste into valuable biogas.
Key Responsibilities:
- De-packaging Operation: Operate de-packaging machinery to separate organic waste from packaging materials, ensuring the quality of the feedstock for anaerobic digestion.
- Telehandler and forklift operation.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on de-packaging equipment to ensure continuous and reliable operation.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines, including proper handling of materials, equipment, and chemical substances.
- Quality Control: Monitor the quality of the de-packaged organic material and make adjustments as needed to maintain optimal feedstock conditions.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of de-packaging processes, equipment maintenance, and any incidents or issues encountered during operations.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with other plant operators and technicians to ensure the overall efficiency and success of the anaerobic digester plant.
- Environmental Compliance: Ensure compliance with all environmental regulations and standards related to waste processing and anaerobic digestion.
- Problem Solving: Identify and troubleshoot issues related to de packaging equipment and processes to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency.
Experience:
- Prior experience in operating similar machinery is preferred
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of safety procedures and guidelines for industrial equipment.
- Ability to work in a physically demanding and fast-paced environment.
- Excellent attention to detail and record-keeping skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
