Full job description

Location: Taylors Select & Ford Service, Berry Way, Skegness
Hours: 8.30am–5.30pm Monday to Friday (no weekend work)
Salary: £36,000 OTE (dependent on experience)

We’re looking for an experienced vehicle technician to join our small, dedicated team.

Our workshop in Skegness has a reputation for delivering exceptional service, built on long-standing relationships with our valued local customers. Our partnership with Ford means a great deal to us, and the successful candidate will be enrolled in the Ford Training Academy to receive the latest model and technological training.

About the Role:

As a Vehicle Technician, you’ll carry out a wide range of workshop activities, including servicing, maintenance, diagnostics, and repair work to Ford manufacturer standards. Your responsibilities will include:

Completing servicing, maintenance, and repair work efficiently and accurately
Performing diagnostic checks and identifying faults effectively
Carrying out warranty and recall work to manufacturer guidelines
Ensuring all work meets the highest quality and safety standards
Supporting the smooth running of a small, supportive team

About You:

We’re looking for someone who is:

IMI Level 3 qualified (essential)
At least 2 years’ experience in a technician role (preferred)
Organised, efficient, and detail-focused
Keen to develop skills with access to the Henry Ford Academy training programme
A team player who takes pride in their work and enjoys working in a small, friendly environment
