Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Welder Fabricator to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for fabricating and welding metal components, primarily using TIG welding techniques, to produce high-quality products. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a strong mechanical aptitude and experience in sheet metal fabrication to contribute to our innovative projects. The position is suitable for applicants who are detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and committed to craftsmanship.

Duties

Perform TIG welding on various metals, and projects ensuring precise and durable welds.
Fabricate components according to technical drawings and specifications, utilising hand tools and power tools.
Cut, shape, and assemble metal parts using appropriate fabrication techniques.
Use mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and resolve fabrication issues efficiently.
Operate welding equipment safely while adhering to health and safety regulations.
Assist in the assembly of fabricated parts into finished products or structures.
Maintain a clean and organised work environment, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly stored after use.
Conduct quality checks on completed work to ensure compliance with standards.

Skills

Proficiency in TIG welding and other welding techniques.
Experience with hand tools, power tools, and a variety of metal fabrication processes.
Strong understanding of fabrication principles and mechanical knowledge related to metalworking.
Ability to interpret technical drawings and blueprints accurately.
Basic mathematical skills for measurements and calculations during fabrication processes.
Competence in assembly work, ensuring components fit correctly and meet specifications.
Excellent attention to detail with a focus on safety practices throughout all tasks. This role is ideal for dedicated individuals eager to develop their skills within a dynamic manufacturing environment while producing high-quality welded fabrications.
