Specialist Cleaning Technician

Central Belt (Glasgow, Edinburgh & surrounding)
£15–£19 per hour (depending on experience, skills & role)

About the Role

We’re looking for a Specialist Cleaning Technician to join our growing team at We Clean Group.

This is not a standard cleaning role.

You’ll work across a range of specialist and technical cleaning services, including:

TR19 kitchen extract cleaning
High-level cleaning (IPAF / PASMA access)
Pressure washing & external cleaning
Guano (bird dropping) removal
Biohazard and specialist decontamination work
Plus other services such as window cleaning, carpet & upholstery cleaning, soft washing and gutter cleaning

What You’ll Earn

We operate a structured pay model that rewards skill, responsibility, and performance:

Base rate: £13.45 per hour (Real Living Wage)
Skill-based pay increases as you gain certifications
Specialist work uplifts for hazardous/technical jobs
Supervisor progression with higher hourly rates
Weekly quality bonus for high standards
Travel pay + driver bonus

Most of our team earn £15–£19+ per hour once trained and established.

What You’ll Be Doing

Delivering high-quality cleaning across commercial sites
Working as part of a specialised cleaning team across multiple locations
Using specialist equipment and following detailed job specifications
Supporting supervisors with potential progression into leadership roles
Ensuring all work meets company standards and client expectations

What We’re Looking For

Full UK driving licence (preferred but not essential)
TR19 Kitchen Cleaning experience (preferred but not essential)
Reliable, punctual, and takes pride in their work
Comfortable with early starts, travel, and pre-planned occasional weekends
Physically fit and able to carry out hands-on work
Positive attitude and willingness to learn

Experience is helpful but not essential — full training provided.
