Temporary Summer Receptionist & Breakfast Host (0-Hours Contract)

Experience Required: Previous reception, hospitality, or customer service experience

About the Role

Kinnettles Hotel is seeking an experienced, friendly, and professional Receptionist to join our team for the busy summer season. This flexible 0-hours role combines front-of-house reception duties with hosting and running breakfast service, ensuring guests receive exceptional service throughout their stay.

Key Responsibilities

Welcoming guests and providing a warm, professional first impression
Managing guest check-ins and check-outs
Handling telephone and email enquiries
Processing reservations and guest requests
Setting up, hosting, and running breakfast service
Ensuring breakfast areas are clean, organised, and well-presented
Monitoring breakfast stock and replenishing items as required
Providing local information and recommendations to guests
Assisting with general administrative and front-of-house duties
Maintaining high standards of customer service at all times

Requirements

Previous reception, front desk, hospitality, or customer service experience essential
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Flexible availability, including weekends and early morning shifts
Professional appearance and positive attitude
Experience with hotel booking systems is advantageous
