Craigie’s is a family-run farm and visitor destination near Edinburgh, built around seasonal experiences, great food, and authentic countryside fun. The business comprises a working farm, farm shop & deli and a café situated in the beautiful countryside between Queensferry and Edinburgh.
What we are looking for:
As part of our Summer Pick Your Own fruit event, we offer tractor trailer and barrel train rides around the farm. We are looking for a safe, reliable, and friendly Tractor Driver to operate our trailer rides and help create lasting memories for our guests. This is a great opportunity to work in a fun outdoor environment as part of a busy events team, helping deliver a positive experience for visitors while ensuring the event runs smoothly day to day.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely driving a tractor with passenger trailer on designated routes
- Helping passengers on and off the trailer with a friendly, welcoming attitude
- Providing basic safety instructions before each ride
- Carrying out routine vehicle checks and reporting any maintenance issues
- Working closely with the event team to ensure smooth operation and crowd management
- Demonstrate mechanical knowledge by performing basic maintenance tasks on the vehicle as needed.
Qualifications
- Valid commercial driving licence with appropriate endorsements for tractor trailer operation.
- Previous experience driving tractors or farm machinery (essential)
- A full, clean UK driving licence
Candidates must be able to start June - September
Pay: Up to £12.71 per hour
