Experienced Dental HygienistJob Overview

We are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic, and patient-focused Dental Hygienist to join our busy, well-established practice for 3 days per week.

This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a friendly, supportive, and highly professional team in a thriving practice with a loyal patient base. Our hygiene diaries are consistently busy, and our patients value high-quality preventative care, excellent communication, and clinical expertise. We are seeking a hygienist who is confident in managing periodontal care, passionate about patient education, and committed to delivering an outstanding patient experience.

Responsibilities

Provide high-quality dental hygiene treatment, including scaling, periodontal therapy, and preventive care.
Assess patients' oral health and accurately record clinical findings and treatment plans.
Deliver personalised oral hygiene instruction and preventive advice to support long-term oral health.
Diagnose and manage periodontal disease in line with current evidence-based guidelines.
Take dental radiographs where appropriate and maintain accurate clinical records.
Work closely with our dentists and clinical team to provide comprehensive patient care.
Ensure the highest standards of cross-infection control and compliance with GDC and CQC standards.
Build long-term relationships with patients through excellent communication and compassionate care.

About You

GDC-registered Dental Hygienist.
Previous experience working in general dental practice.
Confident in delivering periodontal treatment and preventive dentistry.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Friendly, professional, and organised with a patient-centred approach.
Able to work independently while contributing positively to a collaborative team.
Committed to maintaining high clinical standards and providing exceptional patient care.
