The Investment Management value chain is currently undergoing significant change. Both Asset Managers and Asset Servicers are undergoing transformation journeys, which as a result is changing where activities sit on the value chain and thus altering the operating models of both players. Our ambition is to become the leading Consulting practice in Asset Servicing, helping asset servicers to deliver large scale transformation change initiatives that enable digital technology adoption and operational efficiencies through major structural changes within their back-office operations, including Transfer Agency, Custody, Depositories, and Fund Accounting, to unlock value and growth ambitions for their organisations. We are looking for talented individuals with expertise in back-office asset servicing with a passion to learn, develop and grow within our proposition team.
As a Senior Manager in our team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering our Asset Servicing proposition, with a deep specialisation in back-office functions. You will have the opportunity to:

Lead and expand our expertise in back-office asset servicing, driving thought leadership and market presence.

Oversee the successful delivery of complex client engagements and large-scale programmes, ensuring exceptional client satisfaction and strategic outcomes within back-office transformation projects.

Provide strategic leadership and mentorship to project teams, fostering the growth and development of our junior and mid-level practitioners.

Drive the development and growth of the Investment Management practice, actively contributing to the asset servicing back-office proposition, market offerings, and intellectual capital.

Cultivate and strengthen senior-level client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor and identifying new business opportunities.

Contribute significantly to business development activities, including proposal writing and client presentations, to secure new engagements.
Connect to your skills and professional experience
- Extensive industry experience working in the Investment Management Asset Servicing market with a deep expertise in Transfer Agency, Fund Administration and/or Custody Services.

Big 4 Consulting or equivalent background, with demonstrable experience at a Senior Manager level or above.

Significant experience leading and driving large-scale transformational change programmes within back-office functions of asset servicer(s), demonstrating strategic impact and measurable results.

Proven ability to mentor, coach, and develop high-performing teams and individuals, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

A strong track record of designing, delivering, and leading complex projects and programmes, with a proven ability to structure, develop, and deliver innovative and sustainable transformation solutions for back-office operations.

Exceptional ability to mobilise and motivate large, diverse teams, establishing strategic plans, project objectives, and ensuring successful execution across multiple workstreams.

Deep understanding of operating model concepts, design, and analysis, particularly as applied to complex back-office processes, technology integration, and regulatory compliance.

Demonstrated success in leading and growing senior-level client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor, and identifying and converting new business opportunities.

Expertise in managing and influencing senior stakeholders, navigating complex organisational dynamics, and resolving high-impact issues across client and internal teams.

Exceptional communication and presentation skills, capable of articulating complex strategic and technical concepts to executive-level audiences and facilitating consensus.

Demonstrated ability to significantly contribute to practice development, including proposition design, thought leadership, market eminence, and intellectual capital development.

Excellent ability in Microsoft Office, particularly in PowerPoint and Excel.

A comprehensive understanding of diversity, equity, and inclusion principles, with a proven ability to foster an inclusive culture within teams and client engagements.

Advanced understanding of risk management principles, regulatory compliance, and governance frameworks relevant to asset servicing back-office operations.

Regulation and controls are standard practice in our industry and Deloitte is no exception. These controls provide important legal protection for both you and the firm. We are subject to a number of audit regulations, one of which requires that certain colleagues abide by specific personal independence constraints (e.g., in relation to any financial interests and employment relationships). This can mean that you and your "Immediate Family Members" are not permitted to hold certain financial interests (shares, funds, bonds etc.) with audit clients of the firm, and also prohibitions on certain employment relationships (e.g., you are not permitted to hold a secondary employment role with SEC audit clients of the firm whilst being employed by the firm).
