Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Bricklayers/Labourers to join our construction team. This role involves assisting with masonry and building tasks on various projects, ensuring quality workmanship and safety standards are maintained. Duties
- Assisting with bricklaying and masonry work, including laying bricks, blocks, and other materials according to project specifications
- Operating hand tools such as trowels, hammers, chisels, and levels to support construction activities
- Using power tools safely for cutting, drilling, and shaping materials as required
- Supporting carpentry tasks when necessary, including handling timber and framing components
- Assisting with roofing tasks by passing tools or materials to roofers and preparing work surfaces
- Performing basic welding tasks when required, adhering to safety procedures
- Moving materials and equipment around the site using appropriate manual handling techniques
- Maintaining a clean and organised work environment to promote safety and efficiency
Requirements
- Previous experience with hand tools, bricklaying, masonry, or related trades
- Basic knowledge of power tools, carpentry, roofing, or welding
- Physical fitness with the ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail in completing tasks accurately
- Ability to follow instructions carefully and work safely at all times
- Reliable with a strong work ethic and team-oriented attitude
- Valid UK driving licence with own transport and tools

Pay: £12.90-£32.38 per hour
