Grove Hotel
The Grove Hotel is perfectly positioned in Britain’s smallest city, St Davids – a charming and vibrant location where quaint streets are lined with boutiques, bars, galleries and colourful bunting, creating a real destination feel for visitors and locals alike.
This is a well-established, multi-faceted, food-led business offering 10 letting bedrooms alongside a popular company menu and a strong drinks trade. The spacious rear garden plays a key role in driving footfall, regularly hosting community events as well as beer and cider festivals, helping to create a lively and engaging atmosphere throughout the year. The business currently delivers around £15,000 per week, with a trade split of approximately 30% food, 50% wet sales and 20% rooms.
This is a highly seasonal opportunity, benefiting from strong tourist trade during the summer months, with a more challenging winter period. It’s ideally suited to someone who understands how to maximise peak trading while building a loyal local customer base and creating reasons to visit all year round.
We’re looking for an experienced Licensee, Hospitality or Retail Manager with a proven track record of driving sales and delivering an excellent guest experience in a food-led environment. Experience within hotels, tourism-led locations or seasonal businesses would be a real advantage, along with the ability to embrace the local community and make the most of this unique and versatile site.
