Full job description

Macdonalds Farm is a popular family attraction and glamping destination in North Cornwall, welcoming visitors throughout the year. We are looking for a hardworking and reliable Kitchen Porter to support our busy kitchen team and help ensure the smooth running of our food operations.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain experience in hospitality and catering, with the chance to work in a friendly, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Washing dishes, utensils, pots, and kitchen equipment
Maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout the kitchen
Assisting with basic food preparation when required
Ensuring waste is disposed of safely and efficiently
Receiving and storing deliveries
Supporting chefs and kitchen staff during busy service periods
Following all food hygiene and health & safety procedures

About You

Positive attitude and strong work ethic
Ability to work efficiently in a busy environment
Reliable, punctual, and willing to learn
Good team player with excellent communication skills
Previous kitchen experience is beneficial but not essential, as full training can be provided
