Overview
Following a recent expansion, we are seeking a dedicated and experienced Retail Supervisor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for farm shop and food retail management. As a Retail Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of the store, driving sales, and providing exceptional customer service. Your ability to manage a team effectively while maintaining high standards of organisation will contribute significantly to our success.

Duties

Supervise daily farm shop operations, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
Lead and motivate the team to achieve excellent retail displays and enhance customer experiences.
Manage stock levels, including stock replenishment and merchandising displays.
Train new staff members on sales techniques, product knowledge, and customer service standards.
Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members.
Handle customer enquiries and resolve any issues that may arise in a professional manner.
Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to improve overall store profitability.
Assist with staff rotas to ensure adequate coverage during peak hours while managing time effectively.

Experience

Proven experience in food retail management or supervisory roles is essential.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage a diverse team.
Excellent organisational skills with a keen eye for detail.
Proficient in sales management techniques with a track record of achieving sales targets.
Strong time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
