Experienced Paint Sprayer – Bespoke Cabinetry & Joinery
The Good Joinery Co Ltd are looking for an experienced and detail-focused Paint Sprayer to join our growing workshop team.
We specialise in the manufacture and installation of high-end bespoke cabinetry and interior joinery, producing kitchens, wardrobes, media walls, and fitted furniture for residential projects across Scotland. Quality craftsmanship and exceptional finishes are at the heart of everything we do, and we’re looking for someone who shares that standard.
The Role
You will be responsible for preparing, spraying, and finishing bespoke cabinetry and joinery items to a consistently high standard within our workshop.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparing cabinetry and joinery items for finishing, including sanding, filling, masking, and cleaning surfaces
- Mixing paints, primers, lacquers, and topcoats to the correct specifications
- Operating spray equipment safely and efficiently to achieve a flawless finish
- Applying coatings evenly with excellent attention to detail and finish quality
- Carrying out quality checks to ensure all work meets our workshop standards
- Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe spray area
- Assisting with the maintenance and cleaning of spray equipment
- Working closely with the workshop team to meet project deadlines and maintain workflow
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience as a Paint Sprayer, ideally within cabinetry, furniture, or bespoke joinery
- Strong understanding of spray finishes, primers, lacquers, and paint systems
- Excellent attention to detail and pride in producing high-quality work
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Good organisational skills and a positive attitude
- Experience using hand and power tools within a workshop environment
- Knowledge of workshop health & safety procedures
