Full job description

We're currently recruiting a friendly Receptionist to provide first-class reception service for CH&CO on a part time basis, contracted to 25 hours per week.

As a Receptionist, you will work in a welcoming team to ensure that all staff and visitors are greeted and dealt with in a warm and efficient manner. Your key responsibilities will include:

Provide a warm welcome, assist and direct guests/visitors, as the first point of contact
Represent CH&CO in a way that positively affects client, staff or supplier’s perceptions both face to face, email and over the telephone
Inform RCP personnel when visitors have arrived
Take ownership of the Members & Fellows lounge – providing daily hospitality services
Assist with deliveries for events, including for exhibitors, coordinating with relevant teams to provide a seamless service for the event day and facilitate collections
Aid in the smooth running of events by assisting the lead receptionist and event managers as per the business needs
Work in close partnership with other relevant departments such as:
Meetings and Events, Kitchen, Porterage, AV, Operations Team and other Contractors i.e.
Security, Cleaners, Maintenance etc

Our ideal Receptionist will:

Have excellent verbal and written communication skills
Possess fantastic organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks
Be competent in using Microsoft Office and general office equipment
Display passion for delivering excellent customer service
Be an excellent team player
Have the ability to develop and maintain good working relationships
Demonstrate exceptional timekeeping and reliability
