Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Paramedic Practitioner / Advanced Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team. This role involves delivering comprehensive patient care within a dynamic clinical environment, providing advanced assessment, diagnosis, and treatment. The successful candidate will possess strong clinical expertise, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality healthcare services. This position offers an opportunity to work in a supportive setting with a focus on patient-centred care and professional development.

Duties

Conduct thorough patient assessments, including history-taking and physical examinations
Support and work within the duty team and provide home & care home visits
Diagnose a wide range of acute and chronic conditions with clinical precision
Administer medications safely and effectively in accordance with prescribing guidelines
Develop and implement personalised treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs
Provide health education and advice to optimise patient outcomes
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care delivery
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with legal and organisational standards
Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, and ongoing professional development programmes

Requirements

Proven experience in patient care within a primary or urgent care setting
Strong knowledge of human anatomy and physiology to inform clinical decision-making
Competence in medication administration, including prescribing rights where applicable
Relevant registration with the appropriate professional body (e.g., NMC or HCPC)
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
Exceptional communication skills, demonstrating empathy and professionalism at all times
Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team
Commitment to continuous professional development and maintaining up-to-date clinical knowledge

Pay: £26.50-£29.35 per hour
