We are seeking an exceptional Nursery Manager to lead our nursery with energy, vision, and a commitment to excellence. The Role
As Nursery Manager, you will work closely with the Leadership team to ensure compliance, team engagement and outstanding results. You’ll demonstrate a passion and enthusiasm for success, driving our vision to be a leading Early Years Provider.
You will be responsible for delivering outstanding care and high-quality early education, ensuring that performance standards are consistently achieved. You will also drive the commercial success of your nursery where our colleagues, families and children feel valued.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and inspire a team of early years professionals to deliver outstanding childcare and education.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory, safeguarding, health and safety, and statutory requirements.
- Drive high standards across all areas of nursery practice and curriculum delivery.
- Build strong relationships with parents, carers, and the local community.
- Recruit, develop, coach, and retain talented team members.
- Monitor occupancy, budgets, and financial performance to support business growth.
- Manage day-to-day operations, policies, and procedures effectively.
- Prepare for inspections and maintain excellent quality standards.
- Foster a culture of inclusion, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Champion children's wellbeing, learning, and development at every stage.
What We're Looking For
Essential Requirements:
- Level 3 Early Years qualification (minimum).
- Proven experience in a Nursery Manager, Deputy Manager, or senior leadership role within an early years setting.
- Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and safeguarding requirements.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
- Experience managing teams, performance, and staff development.
- A genuine passion for delivering exceptional outcomes for children.
Desirable:
- Experience leading a nursery through successful inspections.
- Strong understanding of occupancy management and nursery business operations.
- Paediatric First Aid certification.
- Experience implementing quality improvement initiatives.

Pay: £30,160.00-£32,000.00 per year
