We’re looking for an enthusiastic and forward thinking Band 6 Senior Staff Nurse to join our dynamic Outpatient Team, where your expertise will truly make a difference.

You’ll play a key role in shaping high‑quality care, supporting service development, and guiding junior staff, all while building meaningful relationships with patients across a wide range of specialties. Main duties of the job

Support the department manager to provide effective day to day management and clinical leadership to the nursing team to facilitate the delivery of outpatient services and clinical nursing procedures. The postholder will possess the ability to promote patient centred care and establish good relationships with patients and carers, creating a welcoming, caring and safe environment. The postholder will support the department manager to develop a vision and strategy for the effective use of departmental facilities ensuring they are utilised to capacity, to improve productivity and to maximise options for the development of income generation.

We’re an NHS community and mental health provider Trust based in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly. We deliver community and hospital-based care to improve people’s physical and mental health. We also provide specialist support to people with dementia or a learning disability.
