We now have an opportunity for a Warehouse Nights Team Leader to join our friendly team. Applicants must be reliable, hard-working and be a good team player, willing to support and help colleagues.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and accurately store incoming deliveries
- Pick, pack and prepare customer orders to company quality standards
- Load outbound vehicles safely and efficiently
- Carry out stock replenishment and inventory checks as required
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping and warehouse organisation
- Operate warehouse equipment in accordance with training and company procedures
- Follow health and safety policies, report any hazards or incidents promptly
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and supervisors to ensure operational targets are achieve
Flexibility Requirements:
Although the core contracted hours are Monday-Friday, 19:00-07:00, this is a holiday relief role. The successful candidate must be flexible and willing to:
- Work additional hours when required
- Adjust start and finish times to provide operational cover
- Work alternative days or shifts where reasonable to support holiday and absence cover
- Reasonable notice will be provided wherever possible, although occasional short-notice changes may be necessary to maintain operational requirements
Skills and Experience:
- Previous warehouse experience is desirable but not essential
- Good attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Physically capable of manual handling duties
- Strong commitment to health and safety
