Full job description

All aboard to come and work with us this season at Cornwall’s secret world of play and trains!

We are looking for a friendly and versatile Kitchen Assistant to work with our fast-paced Food and Beverage team, working with modern facilities helping to serve a range of delicious but basic food products.

You will be working as part of a team delivering an enjoyable menu of consistently high quality hot and cold food in our Engine Shed Café.

Responsibilities will include the preparation and presentation of hot and cold food, ensuring a very high standard of kitchen and work area cleanliness is maintained, helping out with washing up and running food.

The working days vary, but will always include one weekend day every week.

The best part is you never have to work evenings and nights beyond 5.30pm - and NO split shifts!

Please note that this is a seasonal position, starting in mid-march through until mid-September. However, there is the possibility of work beyond this for the right candidate.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 6 weeks

Pay: £14.24 per hour
