We are currently recruiting for a Telesales Executive to join a fast-growing renewable energy company specialising in residential solar, battery storage, and air source heat pump solutions.
This is a warm leads role — you will be speaking with customers who have already expressed an interest in renewable energy products, so no cold calling is required. As an OVO franchise partner, we receive a consistent flow of high-quality enquiries from homeowners actively seeking to reduce their energy bills and carbon footprint.
This position is ideal for ambitious sales professionals looking to earn uncapped commission within one of the UK's fastest-growing sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Contact inbound and warm leads who have requested information regarding solar PV, battery storage, and air source heat pumps.
- Qualify customers and assess their suitability for renewable energy solutions.
- Explain the benefits, savings, and environmental advantages of solar PV systems, battery storage, and air source heat pumps.
- Conduct customer consultations over the phone and identify the most suitable renewable energy products for their property.
- Generate and present quotations using company systems and processes.
- Close sales over the phone and secure survey appointments where required.
- Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets.
- Maintain accurate customer records using CRM systems.
- Follow up with prospective customers and manage the sales pipeline effectively.
- Cross-sell complementary renewable technologies where appropriate.
Requirements
- Previous Solar, Battery and ASHP sales experience
- Strong communication, negotiation, and objection-handling skills.
- Target-driven with a strong desire to maximise earnings through commission.
- Confident and professional telephone manner.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Basic IT skills and ability to use CRM systems.
Desirable (Not Essential)
- Knowledge of the UK renewable energy sector.
- Understanding of air source heat pump technology and the Boiler Upgrade Scheme (BUS).
- Experience working within a high-volume sales environment.
- Proficient with Open Solar, Easy PV, PVsol or similar solar design software.
Salary & Benefits
- £25,000 – £30,000 basic salary (depending on experience).
- Uncapped commission with realistic earnings of £50,000+ OTE.
