Overview
As Assistant Vice President, Property & Casualty – Sales you will be responsible for identifying, targeting and cultivating ideal prospects and new business opportunities for Gallagher’s Property & Casualty portfolio. You will also collaborate with our executive team and account executives to grow new business and will develop sales strategies with innovative and unique ideas based on market observations.

Identify and pursue new business leads

Collaborate with other leaders and team members to develop lead generation plans and sales presentations

Assist with leading the strategic planning and implementation of new revenue opportunities that support the achievement of company goals and objectives

Maintain client relationships

Develop leads via face-to-face meetings, virtual meetings and industry event engagements

Connect with prospective and new clients to provide insurance coverage solutions for risks identified

Assist with annual budgeting, planning and forecasting processes

Participate in client meetings and annual renewal processes, as required

Maintain knowledge of Gallagher’s products and services and best deployment thereof to the benefit of client/prospect

Stay in tune with market trends to adapt our sales approach proactively and effectively as it relates to the dynamically competitive landscape

Effectively work with members of all teams including; Client Services, Operations and Finance

Track sales efforts via the effective utilization of the Sales Force platform
- Highly proficient in the use of technology, with the ability to learn new systems, tools, and processes effortlessly

Education and Experience
-
Professional insurance qualification (such as ACII, CPCU, CIP).
- Degree in Management, Business Administration or other related field, will be an asset

At least 4+ years’ sales related experience in the insurance industry,
