Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent Integrated Care Board
As part of the Financial Management team, you will support routine financial reporting and forecasting, budgetary control, workforce system maintenance, and general ledger updates.
You will support assigned Assistant Business Unit Accountants in supporting a designated service portfolio on financial matters, whilst functioning within the main Financial Management role.
You will develop and maintain working relationships with other members of staff within the different finance sections to ensure an effective and efficient service provision.
- Keep senior finance staff informed of key issues.
- Support monthly reporting of income and expenditure and provide basic ledger reports.
- Assist with analysing routine budget variances.
- Process standard ledger journal adjustments (accruals, prepayments, etc.).
- Support with budget setting, in year amendments, and maintain audit records.
- Support with financial forecasting, reporting, and costing information.
- Help maintain workforce and payroll systems, including ESR data accuracy and reconciliations.
- Assist with financial queries, invoicing, and control account reconciliations.
- Work collaboratively to ensure high-quality financial services and continuous improvement.
- Maintain documentation, comply with policies, and support service changes.
- Undertake ongoing professional development and training.
