About Dudley Academies Trust
Dudley Academies Trust was established to ensure a first-rate education for the young people of Dudley and the surrounding areas. It is important to us that all our young people receive a high-quality education that gives them the foundations they need for a fulfilling life and a rewarding future career.
Following five successive years in which our academies improved their GCSE results, they achieved their best set of results ever in 2024. All four secondary academies are above the Dudley average and, since joining the Trust, they are the four most improved secondary schools in the borough for student progress, with one academy being the most improved for grades achieved.
With two primary schools having joined the Trust so far, we aim to offer a route from Nursery and Reception through to A Levels, T Levels, vocational qualifications, apprenticeships and degree-level courses offered by our sponsor, Dudley College of Technology.
We have recruited numerous excellent staff to our academies and made outstanding appointments to leadership teams across the Trust. We have introduced a proven rewards and behaviour management system that has transformed classroom culture, alongside a range of innovative teaching approaches. An inspiring curriculum offers a rich variety of subjects with a strong emphasis on English, Mathematics and the digital technologies that are increasingly important in today's world. Over £15 million has already been invested in improving buildings, facilities and IT equipment across our academies, with further significant investment continuing this year.
