Celestial Defence Security Ltd is an expanding Birmingham‑based security company operating across the West Midlands. We are seeking an experienced Security Operations & Business Development professional to support our growth, secure new contracts and help strengthen our operational capability.
This is a flexible, self‑employed, commission‑based consultancy role—ideal for an experienced security professional, consultant, retired operations manager or industry specialist looking to contribute to the development of a growing company.
The focus is on contract acquisition, operational setup and strategic growth, rather than traditional salaried employment.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, source and secure new security contracts and subcontracting opportunities
- Build and maintain relationships with construction firms, FM companies and commercial clients
- Assist with tender submissions, proposals and business development activities
- Support the creation and improvement of operational procedures and deployment planning
- Contribute to preparations for future SIA ACS accreditation
- Provide strategic guidance on scaling operations and enhancing service delivery
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in the UK private security industry (operations, contracts, management or BD)
- Strong industry network and excellent relationship‑building skills
- Experience in subcontracting, tendering or business development is highly desirable
- Understanding of mobile patrols, keyholding, construction security or commercial guarding
- Self‑motivated, proactive and results‑driven
