Eventus Legal are seeking a permanent Family Solicitor to join the Family Law team of a respected regional practice in Stoke-On-Trent, Staffordshire. This Family Solicitor job is based in Stoke-On-Trent with hybrid working available, offering genuine flexibility with full-time and part-time hours considered. This is an excellent opportunity for a Family Solicitor in Stoke-On-Trent to join a supportive and well-established team handling a varied private family caseload, with scope for development across a broad PQE range. The Family Solicitor role offers a collaborative environment, strong client focus and the chance to work within a growing family department in Stoke where quality work and flexibility are genuinely valued.

About the Job
This Family Solicitor job offers the opportunity to manage a varied private family law caseload within a busy and supportive team environment. The Family Solicitor will be responsible for handling matters from instruction through to resolution, including court representation and client care across a range of emotionally sensitive cases.

Key responsibilities include:

Managing a varied caseload of private family law matters including divorce, financial remedy and private children disputes
Conducting own advocacy in court hearings and representing clients effectively in proceedings
Progressing matters from initial instruction through to settlement or final hearing with minimal supervision
Drafting applications, statements and legal documents with a high level of accuracy and clarity
Liaising with clients, counsel and third parties to progress matters efficiently and maintain strong client care standards
Supporting compliance processes and ensuring files are maintained in line with regulatory requirements
Identifying and progressing opportunities for settlement through negotiation and alternative dispute resolution
Contributing to the smooth running of the Family Solicitor workload within the wider team in Stoke-On-Trent

About You

Strong communication skills with the ability to handle sensitive client matters
