We are seeking an enthusiastic, team-orientated Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team at Manor Vets on a full-time fixed term contract basis.
Manor Vets is built up of a large and experienced team, we have certificate holders across our practices in various disciplines which allows us to keep a large and varied caseload in-house. We have digital xray, Ultrasound and inhouse blood analysers at all sites, k-laser, dental xray at Cradley Heath and Lordswood, CT scanner at Halesowen.

As a Registered Veterinary Nurse, you will be an integral member of the clinical team, delivering high-quality nursing care to patients while supporting excellent client experiences.
You’ll work collaboratively with veterinary surgeons and the wider practice team, taking responsibility for the nursing care of a range of first opinion cases, contributing to clinical standards, and supporting the ongoing development of patient care within the practice.
This is ideally a full time fixed term contract role, on a rota basis Monday-Friday with 1 in 3 Saturday mornings. However, we will also welcome part time applications. The role is primarily based at Manor Vets Shirley, with occasional cover at other branches.
General responsibilities include:
- Inpatient care, including admits and discharge appointments
- Triaging patients and assisting with incoming calls
- Lab work, stock and ordering
We’re looking for a confident and motivated Registered Veterinary Nurse who enjoys working as part of a team and delivering high standards of care. You’ll bring:
- Registration as a Veterinary Nurse with the RCVS
- Experience working in clinical practice, with growing confidence in medical and surgical nursing
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with clients and colleagues
- Good organisational skills and the ability to manage workload effectively
- A proactive approach to learning, reflection, and continuous improvement
