IT Valley (London) Limited is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented ServiceNow Analyst to support the administration, enhancement, and ongoing improvement of the ServiceNow platform.

Roles and Responsibilities

Support the day-to-day administration and maintenance of the ServiceNow platform.
Analyse ServiceNow platform requirements and support the configuration and implementation of approved changes and enhancements.
Configure and maintain ITSM modules, including Incident, Problem, Change, and Knowledge Management.
Manage users, groups, roles, and access permissions in line with business requirements.
Support Service Catalog updates, request workflows, and configuration enhancements.
Create and maintain reports and dashboards to support operational and management requirements.
Monitor and maintain CMDB data quality and assist with Configuration Item lifecycle management.
Investigate platform issues, perform root cause analysis, and coordinate with relevant teams for resolution.
Support testing and validation of new features, enhancements, and configuration changes.
Assist with update set management and deployment of approved changes between environments.
Coordinate with developers, support teams, and relevant users to investigate platform issues and implement approved configuration changes and enhancements.
Coordinate with technical teams on integration-related activities when required.
Maintain system documentation, process guides, configuration records, and release documentation.
Participate in access reviews, system audits, and platform governance activities.
Identify platform issues and operational improvement opportunities to support efficient ServiceNow service delivery.
Provide user support and knowledge transfer to internal teams when required.

Skills and Experience Required

· Experience working with the ServiceNow platform, particularly ITSM modules.

· Understanding of Incident, Problem, Change, Knowledge and Service Request Management processes.

· Experience supporting ServiceNow configuration, platform maintenance and operational activities.

· Knowledge of user, group, role and access management within ServiceNow.

· Experience with Service Catalog configuration, reports and dashboards.

· Understanding of CMDB concepts, Configuration Item management and data quality.

· Experience in troubleshooting, issue investigation and root cause analysis.

· Experience supporting testing and validation of configuration changes and enhancements.

· Knowledge of update sets and controlled deployment processes.

· Ability to monitor platform performance and identify areas requiring improvement.

· Understanding of ITIL principles and IT service management processes.

· Ability to maintain technical documentation, process guides and configuration records.

· Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.

· Ability to coordinate effectively with technical teams and platform users.

· ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) or relevant ServiceNow certification is preferred.

Pay: £35,500.00-£38,500.00 per year

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Egham TW20 8HE
