About Our Business

Established in 2003 we are a professional tool hire & sales outlet, located by Lambeth Bridge, close to the heart of Central London. We are dedicated to serving the construction and related industries as well as the general public. With a combined wealth of industry experience, our staff are highly knowledgeable, well trained and dedicated to customer service. We aim to set a benchmark in industry standards. Due to continual growth, we have a vacancy for a Small Tool Workshop Foreman.

The successful candidate will be based in our workshop close to Lambeth Bridge and will be able to lead a small team whilst adding value themselves.

Requirements of the role are:

Practical

Basic electrical (12/24v)

Basic electrical fault-finding experience, including PAT testing

Experience in 2 stroke, petrol and small diesel engines

Ability to service, diagnose and repair accordingly

Organisational

Ability to prioritise work load for yourself and your team

Be responsible for managing the ordering of spares and parts

Be a strong communicator and be able to deliver instruction to others

To be able to work to budgetary constraints

Be able to work within a fast paced environment

To be able to review and assess relevant aspects of Health & Safety

To be able to review and improve existing processes

To be able to manage delivery vehicles, maintenance programmes: booking servicing, mot’s etc
