Overview

Join our dedicated healthcare team as a Healthcare Assistant and make a meaningful difference in the lives of those you support! This rewarding role involves providing compassionate, person-centered care to individuals in care homes or home care settings. You will play a vital part in assisting with daily activities, supporting care plans, and ensuring a safe, respectful environment for all. Duties

Assist residents or clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming, ensuring dignity and respect at all times
Support individuals with mobility needs, including helping them move safely around their environment
Follow detailed care plans to deliver tailored support that meets each person’s unique needs
Maintain clear and effective communication with team members, residents, and family members to ensure seamless care delivery
Use IT systems to update records, document care activities, and track progress accurately
Support the preparation of meals and assist with feeding when necessary, promoting healthy nutrition
Drive or accompany clients on outings or appointments as required, ensuring their safety and comfort during travel

Experience

Previous experience working in a care home or providing home care is advantageous but not essential; full training will be provided
Strong communication skills in English to effectively interact with clients, families, and team members
Ability to use IT systems for documentation and record keeping efficiently
Valid driving license is preferred for roles involving home visits or transportation duties
Compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to support others’ well-being and independence
