Full-Time Apprenticeships | Engineering & Manufacturing
Are you practical, motivated and interested in learning a skilled trade?
We are looking for enthusiastic people to join our manufacturing team as apprentices in Sheet Metal Fabrication and Machining.
You don't need years of experience. We are looking for people with the right attitude, a willingness to learn and an interest in making things. We will help you develop the skills and experience needed to build a long-term career in engineering and manufacturing.
Two Apprenticeship RoutesApprentice Sheet Metal Fabricator
You will learn how to manufacture high-quality metal components and assemblies using a range of traditional and modern fabrication techniques.
Your training and experience may include:
- Reading and understanding engineering drawings
- Sheet metal cutting, forming and bending
- Setting and operating press brakes and other fabrication equipment
- MIG and TIG welding
- Laser welding and modern fabrication technology
- Grinding, dressing and finishing components
- Working with mild steel, stainless steel and aluminium
- Measuring and checking components for quality and accuracy
- Assembly of fabricated products
Apprentice Machinist
You will learn how precision components are manufactured using modern engineering machinery and techniques.
Your training and experience may include:
- CNC milling and turning
- Setting and operating machine tools
- Reading engineering drawings
- Learning about tooling, materials and machining processes
- Using precision measuring equipment
- Producing components to accurate tolerances
- Quality inspection
- Learning how modern CNC manufacturing systems work
- Developing programming and machine-setting skills as your experience grows

Previous engineering experience is not essential.
We are more interested in finding people who:
