Accountant Assistant - part Time, 3 days a week, Salary £25,000 to £30,000 pa.

We operate two care homes in Norfolk, Halvergate House in North Walsham and Sutherlands in Wymondham.

It has a fully integrated accounting system . Its accounting software is Pegasus Opera.

This is a new position. We are seeking a Accountant to take responsibility for the accounting function.

Responsibilities:

Prepare monthly management accounts
Prepare annual budgets and investigate variances between budgets and actual.
Take responsibility for the day to day accounting function to include payroll, purchases, sales, cashbook, credit control and reconciliations.
Liaise with external auditors when applicable
Develop relationships with external contacts such as auditors, solicitors and HM Revenue & Customs.
Maintain good working relationship with cilleagues at both care homes.
Monthly report to directors on performance
Ensuring the financial function operates efficently.

Skills and qualifications:

Accountancy qualification or part qualification, (AAT, ACA, ACCA )
2-4 years' experience in a management accountant role
Multi-tasking abilities
Superior attention to detail
Able to manage, guide and lead employees to ensure appropriate financial processes are being used
Personable and easy to get on with.

Work Location: In person

Pay: £25,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
