Full job description

We are looking for an enthusiastic person to join our team on reception in our small but busy predominantly NHS practice.

The position is to work Monday to Thursday 8.45am to 5.30pm and Friday 8.45am to 4.30pm. The working environment can be hard work and challenging, but also very rewarding.

The ideal candidate must be a good, effective team player, with good interpersonal and communication skills, a caring manner, reliable time keeping and be confident.

Responsibilities

Manage reception duties, including scheduling appointments and handling patient enquiries.
Utilize IT systems for patient record management and billing processes.
Maintain clear communication with patients and dental staff to facilitate smooth operations.
Organize and maintain the cleanliness of the dental reception area.

Qualifications

Strong patient care skills
Excellent communication abilities, both verbal and written
Background in dentistry preferred
Proficient in IT and administrative tasks, including front desk operations
Exceptional organizational skills to manage appointments and patient records
Fluent in English to effectively interact with patients and staff

Job Types: Permanent, Part-time, Full-time

Pay: £12.71-£13.50 per hour
