A fantastic opportunity has arisen within Nelsons Butchers to join our family run business as a Retail Shop Assistant, based in our Stamford stores. We are looking for a hardworking, responsible, reliable, versatile, and flexible person to fulfil this role.

Job Responsibilities
· Opening & closing of our Stamford stores.
· Setting and topping up service counters
· Stock Rotation & Date checking
· Food preparation & Sandwich making
· Serving customers
· Cleaning and maintenance of the store
· Daily cashing up
Working Friday & Saturdays when required for holiday cover.
· Assisting in our Rutland stores – when holidays/sickness cover is required.
Person Specification
· Experience in retail is ideal however training will be given
· Excellent customer service and communication skills
· Strong Organisation abilities with attention to detail.
· A passion for food and Sandwich Making
· No butchery skills required
· Full Clean Driving License
Hours of Work and Benefit
· £12.71 per hour– paid 4 weekly. To be reviewed after a successful 3 month probation period.
· 24 hours
· Monday 10am – 4pm
Tuesday 10am – 2pm
Wednesday 8am – 4pm
Thursday 10am – 4pm
(flexibility will be required during peak periods, holidays and sickness) This will include working Saturdays for holiday cover.
