Event Decor Assistant

We are looking for a reliable, enthusiastic, and detail-oriented Event Decor Assistant to join our growing team and help deliver exceptional event experiences.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the preparation, delivery, setup, styling, and dismantling of event décor for weddings, corporate events, and private celebrations.
- Arrange decorative elements including backdrops, balloons, centrepieces, table settings, florals, chair covers, lighting, and props.
- Load, unload, transport, and organise event equipment and décor safely.
- Maintain accurate inventory of décor items, ensuring all equipment is cleaned, stored, and accounted for after each event.
- Work closely with the Events Team to ensure all setups are completed on schedule and to a high standard.
- Communicate professionally with clients, venues, suppliers, and colleagues throughout event preparation and delivery.
- Provide excellent customer service and confidently discuss additional décor options or upgrades when appropriate.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workspace, warehouse, and event site.
- Follow health and safety procedures during all installations and dismantling.
About You

- Organised and able to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Friendly with excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Comfortable working as part of a team and independently when required.
- Flexible to work evenings, weekends, and seasonal busy periods.
- Physically fit and capable of lifting and moving décor items and equipment.
- Able to remain calm and work efficiently under pressure.
Desirable Experience
Previous experience in any of the following would be an advantage but is not essential:
- Event styling or event planning
- Hospitality
- Hotels or restaurants
- Customer service or guest services
- Retail sales or upselling
- Floristry
- Wedding or party décor
- Fundraising or charity events
Full training will be provided for the right candidate with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
