Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic general manager to oversee the daily operations of the restaurant. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive experience in food and beverage management, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. This role involves supervising staff, ensuring food safety standards, and maintaining high-quality service across all departments. The successful applicant will be responsible for driving operational excellence, managing team performance, and fostering a welcoming environment for guests.

Responsibilities

Lead and supervise all restaurant operations to ensure smooth functioning and high standards of service.
Oversee quality control and consistency.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and health & safety standards across all departments.
Maintain excellent customer relations by addressing guest concerns promptly and professionally.
Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and professional development.

Skills

Proven supervisory experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
Strong leadership abilities with excellent team management skills.
Knowledge of food preparation and culinary practices.
Familiarity with food safety standards and food production processes.
Experience in speciality coffee such as barista work is advantageous.
Ability to organise multiple tasks efficiently whilst maintaining attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate staff and engage with guests effectively.

Pay: £15.00-£18.00 per hour
