Full job description

We are seeking an EXPERIENCED, dedicated Heavy Plant Operator to join our production team based in Horwich. In this role, you will play a crucial part in our operations by operating quarry equipment and ensuring the safe production of high-quality aggregates.

Responsibilities

Operate quarry machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
Conduct regular inspections of equipment for maintenance needs.
Collaborate with team members to optimize production efficiency.
Assist in loading and unloading materials as required.
Follow all safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.

Qualifications

MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE IN AND BE ABLE TO OPERATE CRUSHERS, SCREENERS & EXCAVATORS ABOVE 20 TONNES.
Proficiency in using excavators and other quarry equipment.
Valid commercial driving license is preferred but not mandatory.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Hours of work Monday to Friday 7am - 5.30pm & Saturday 7am till 1pm (Saturday overtime)
