Location: London
Salary: £14–£23 per hour
Contract Type: Permanent / Temporary / Fixed-Term
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday (with overtime available where applicable)

About the Role

We are seeking experienced and reliable Groundworkers to join our growing team, working on a range of residential, commercial, and civil engineering projects across the UK. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who take pride in delivering high-quality work while maintaining the highest standards of health and safety.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out all aspects of groundworks.
Excavation and trenching.
Drainage installation, including deep drainage.
Kerbing, edging, and paving.
Foundations and concrete works.
Installation of ducts and service trenches.
Flagging, block paving, and finishing works.
Operating small plant and tools where qualified.
Reading and working from site drawings and plans.
Maintaining a safe and tidy working environment.
Working effectively as part of a team and following site instructions.

Essential Experience

Previous experience working as a Groundworker on construction or civil engineering projects.
Proven experience in drainage, foundations, concreting, and finishing works.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good understanding of health and safety regulations on construction sites.
Reliable, punctual, and hardworking.

Essential Qualifications

Valid CSCS Card (Blue Skilled Worker preferred, Green Labourer considered depending on experience).
Full UK Driving Licence (preferred but not essential).
Right to work in the UK.

Desirable Qualifications

The following are advantageous but not essential:

CPCS or NPORS Plant Operator Card.
Street Works (NRSWA) qualification.
Forward Tipping Dumper ticket.
Ride-on Roller ticket.
360 Excavator ticket.
Confined Space certification.
First Aid at Work qualification.
CAT & Genny training.
