Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Net Zero Consultant to join our team.

The successful candidate will play a vital role in helping organisations develop and implement strategies to achieve net zero emissions. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to sustainability initiatives, providing expert guidance on reducing carbon footprints and enhancing environmental performance.

The role requires strong analytical skills, business analysis expertise, and a passion for environmental sustainability. The ideal candidate will be committed to delivering innovative solutions that support clients in meeting their climate goals while aligning with regulatory standards and industry best practices.

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive analysis of organisational operations to identify key areas for carbon reduction and sustainability improvements.
Develop detailed net zero strategies tailored to client needs, including actionable plans and timelines.
Collaborate with stakeholders across various departments to ensure alignment of sustainability objectives with business goals.
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of implemented measures, providing ongoing optimisation recommendations.
Prepare clear and concise reports, presentations, and documentation to communicate findings and proposals effectively.
Stay informed on emerging trends, policies, and technological advancements related to climate change mitigation and sustainability.
Support clients in navigating regulatory requirements and achieving compliance with environmental standards.
Facilitate workshops or training sessions to build organisational capacity around net zero initiatives.

Skills

Strong business analysis skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and translate insights into practical strategies.
Excellent analysis skills, enabling detailed assessment of processes, emissions sources, and potential improvements.
Proven experience in sustainability consulting or related fields is desirable.
Effective communication skills, capable of engaging diverse audiences through reports, presentations, and discussions.
Organised approach with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
Passion for environmental issues with a proactive attitude towards innovation and continuous learning.
