We’re now looking for a passionate and reliable piano teacher to join our friendly team!

The Role

We’re currently seeking a committed and enthusiastic Piano Teacher to join our supportive team. The role involves working with a reception student in the EN6 area, who is a beginner

Rate: £20 per hour (self-employed)
Location: EN6 – sessions take place in the student’s home
Hours: 1 hour per week
Schedule: Thursday from 5PM or Sunday at 11:30AM

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys engaging with young children and would like to make a meaningful impact through personalised, one-to-one music teaching.

Essential Requirements

Please read carefully- applicants must meet the following essential criteria:

The right candidate will live no more than 35-40 minutes away from EN6, where the student reside. (REQUIRED)
MUST have experience being a piano teacher, with an excellent level of piano playing (REQUIRED)
MUST have some professional experience working with children/young people, e.g. teaching assistants, teachers, childcare practitioners or nannies, etc. (REQUIRED)
MUST be available weekly for the scheduled hours (REQUIRED)
MUST be able to prove that you have the right to work in the UK on a self-employed basis (REQUIRED)
MUST be able to access a printer as and when necessary- resources are provided however, tutors are expected to print from time to time (REQUIRED)

Responsibilities:

Provide personalised one-to-one tutoring sessions in the student’s home, adapting to meet their specific learning goals/needs.
Build rapport and maintain strong relationships with students.
Plan fun, engaging activities and lessons that encourage active participation.
Monitor the student’s progress and adapt your approach as needed to support their development.
Encourage, motivate, and help students grow their confidence in their abilities.
