Job title: Maintenance Assistant

Salary: £30-£32k per annum perm full time

Job Type: Permanent, full-time

Hours pw: 40 hours per week

Rota basis to cover 5 out of 7 days

Benefits:

About the Role

We are currently looking for a maintenance assistant to work in and around our Grade II listed building, home of the Arthur Findlay College. The ideal candidate will understand mechanical and technical systems.

Main Responsibilities

Fire Marshall duties.
Follow all health and safety rules and regulations.
As part of the team, maintain a safety-conscious work environment.
Take direction from management.
Deliver repair and installation activities.
Keep maintenance logs and report on daily activities.
Ensure health and safety policies and procedures are complied with.
Form effective working relationships with colleagues and senior management team.
Maintain a professional and proactive attitude towards students, tutors, visitors and colleagues.

Personal Attributes

Ability to consistently maintain positive relationships with own team and others.
Experience in a maintenance role.
Knowledge in a variety of mechanical systems.
Basic computer skills

Pay: £30,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
