Overview
Cambridge Education is dedicated to providing an engaging and supportive learning environment for students during the summer. Our summer school programs consists of morning lectures, afternoon and weekend excursions.

We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Summer School Group Leaders to join our team. The ideal candidates will have a passion for working with children, excellent communication skills, and the ability to create a positive, inclusive atmosphere. Group Leaders will be responsible for supervising and engaging with students, leading educational and recreational activities, and ensuring a safe environment.

By joining our summer school program, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of students while gaining valuable experience in education and youth leadership

Key Responsibilities:

Supervision and Safety: Ensure the safety and well-being of all students in your group at all times.
Activity Planning: Plan and implement a variety of educational, recreational, and enrichment activities that are age-appropriate and engaging.
Instructional Support: Assist with course instruction, provide support, and help students with study if necessary.
Behaviour Management: Maintain a positive and respectful learning environment, managing group dynamics and addressing any issues promptly and effectively.
Communication: Maintain open communication with teachers, and program directors and coordinators regarding student progress, behaviour, and any concerns.
Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other group leaders and staff to ensure a cohesive and effective program.
Attendance and Records: Keep accurate attendance records and report any absences or incidents to the program coordinator.
Role Modelling: Serve as a positive role model for students, demonstrating responsible and respectful behaviour

· Escort individuals or groups on cruises, sightseeing tours, or through places of interest such as corporate and university visits, museums, art galleries and other public buildings

Describe the main points of interest to group members at request, and respond to questions if necessary.

Requirements:
College or university diploma or equivalent, current university student
Experience working with children in an educational or recreational setting.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to plan and organise activities that engage and educate students.
Patience and understanding in dealing with children from diverse backgrounds.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and remain calm under pressure;Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
First Aid certification preferred.
Background check clearance.
Familiar with Cambridge area
