What you’ll do
Our Dispute Resolution and contentious Data Protection team is looking for a Paralegal to join our Bristol office on a full-time and permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent law graduate, someone looking to take their first step into a legal career, or an experienced paralegal to develop within a supportive and fast-paced team.
You will provide support across a variety of dispute resolution matters, with a particular focus on data protection disputes and Subject Access Requests (SARs). A key part of the role will involve coordinating and responding to SARs, reviewing documentation, managing large volumes of information, maintaining accurate records, and helping to ensure legal and regulatory deadlines are met.
Working closely with colleagues across the firm, you will assist with document review exercises, legal research, drafting correspondence, preparing bundles, maintaining case files, and supporting the day-to-day management of matters. You will also have the opportunity to gain broader exposure to dispute resolution work and develop a strong understanding of processes and client service.
This is a role that requires strong organisation, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously. You will play an important part in helping the team deliver an efficient and high-quality service to clients while developing valuable legal and professional skills.
Who you are
You are a motivated and enthusiastic individual who is keen to start building, or develop, a career in law. This role would be particularly well suited to a recent graduate who is looking to gain practical legal experience in a professional services environment or a paralegal looking to expand their skillset in a successful and fast paced team.
You will be highly organised and capable of managing multiple tasks and competing priorities, often working to tight deadlines. You have excellent attention to detail, take pride in producing accurate work, and are comfortable handling sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
You are a strong communicator who enjoys working collaboratively with colleagues and building positive working relationships. You are proactive, willing to learn, and able to adapt to changing priorities while maintaining a high standard of work.
Most importantly, you will bring a positive attitude, a strong work ethic, and a genuine interest in developing your skills within a busy and successful Dispute Resolution team.
