We are seeking an experienced and well-organised Senior Administrator to join our Business Operations Team on a part time basis. This is a great opportunity to be part of a busy, supportive team and to play a key role in supporting the effective and efficient delivery of the Academic Registrar’s Division (ARD).

The Role

You will provide a broad range of administrative and operational support activities, ensuring the smooth and effective running of business processes. Working with a degree of autonomy, you will support planning, coordination and service delivery across the team.

Key responsibilities will include:

Providing high‑level administrative support to managers, teams and committees. This will also include providing executive support to the ARD Leadership Team.
Coordinating administrative processes and maintaining accurate records and documentation
Supporting routine financial, HR and resource processes in line with the department and university procedures
Preparing reports, correspondence and standard management information, as required
Acting as a point of contact for internal stakeholders, resolving queries and escalating issues as appropriate
Contributing to the review and improvement of administrative systems and ways of working
Supporting projects and activities that enhance operational effectiveness within the Business Operations Team

About You

You will have significant experience in an administrative or operational role within a complex organisation, with the ability to manage your own workload and priorities effectively. You will work confidently with colleagues at all levels and demonstrate a strong commitment to delivering a high‑quality service.

Relevant experience in an administrative role involving coordination, record‑keeping and stakeholder support
Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
The ability to work independently, using initiative while following established procedures
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Confidence using standard IT systems, including spreadsheets, databases and document management tools
A flexible, collaborative and customer‑focused approach
