Sonographer – Yorkshire & North East (Flexible NHS Sessions)
Alliance Clinical Services are seeking experienced Sonographers to support NHS waiting list initiatives across Yorkshire and The Humber. This will be for mid-week activity with 1-5 days per week, up to 3 scans per hour with the potential of weekend availability.
Locations: Leeds, Sheffield, Doncaster, Middlesbrough, Manchester, York, Hull and surrounding areas.
We are currently looking for clinicians who scan for:
- General/Abdominal
- Head & Neck
- Liver
- Breast
- Gynae
- MSK
- Obstetrics
- Paediatrics
- Testes
- Vascular
Responsibilities:
- Perform ultrasound examinations on patients to capture images for diagnostic purposes.
- Provide patient care and ensure comfort throughout the imaging process.
- Utilize anatomy knowledge to accurately locate and identify structures during scans.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to discuss findings and contribute to patient care plans.
- Maintain equipment and ensure proper functioning for accurate imaging results.
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure patient and staff well-being.

Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year NHS Hospital Sonography experience
- UK work authorisation
- Strong ultrasound and patient care skills
