The Role
We are looking for a reliable and professional HGV Ready Mix Driver to join our team. You will be
responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of ready-mix concrete to customer sites, ensuring
excellent service and maintaining high safety standards at all times. Opportunity to learn how to use a volumetric concrete truck as well if you wanted.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a HGV Drum mixer truck to deliver ready-mix concrete
- Conduct daily vehicle checks and report any defects
- Ensure timely deliveries while maintaining product quality
- Communicate effectively with the team and customers on-site
- Drive a telehandler at our yard (training provided)
- Assist with vehicle cleaning, maintenance and keeping the yard tidy
- Adhere to all health & safety regulations and company procedures
Requirements
- Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
- Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
- Previous experience driving HGV vehicles
- Good understanding of road safety and compliance
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
