Job Title: Social & Therapeutic Support Worker
Location: This is an on-site role working Monday to Friday at our beautiful location in the village of Market Overton, Rutland.
Job Type Full Time 40 Hrs Per Week (Mon-Fri 7:30 am – 4:00 pm with 30 min unpaid break)
Salary: £27,014.00 - £27,262.00 per annum Pay Point: 1 -2

The Lodge Trust CIO is a Christian charity based in Market Overton, Rutland, providing supported living, residential care, day opportunities, and work-based activities for adults with learning disabilities. Our mission is to create a community where people are valued, encouraged, and empowered to live life to the full.
Our 20-acre rural site includes homes, workshops, a café, gardens, woodland, and a camping and caravan site. Rooted in Christian values of compassion, respect, and kindness, we seek to create a welcoming community where dignity, independence, and personal growth are encouraged.
Role Purpose -
This role involves providing practical, emotional and personal care support while helping service users develop new skills, engage in community activities and participate in Creative Enterprises. You will work collaboratively with colleagues across the Work and Education Services team to deliver high-quality, person-centred support.
Key Responsibilities –
- Support adults with learning disabilities to grow in confidence, independence, and personal fulfilment
- Provide compassionate, person-centred support in both one-to-one and group settings
- Assist with daily living tasks, including personal care, with dignity and respect
- Encourage and enable participation in community life, including education, social activities, and appointments
- Support individuals in Creative Enterprises and therapeutic programmes that nurture skills and wellbeing
- Administer medication safely and responsibly in line with policies
- Respond with sensitivity and flexibility to each individual’s changing needs
- Work in partnership with colleagues to provide a supportive and consistent environment
- Help maintain a safe, welcoming, and well-organised setting
- Complete records accurately and uphold Health & Safety standards

Desirable Criteria
- First Aid qualification
- Food hygiene qualification
- Experience in leading a team
- Ability to advocate for adults with learning disabilities
- Full UK driving licence held for at least two years
