Job Description: Butchery Assistant
New Pastures is a rapidly expanding, family run local business based within the New Forest.
We are looking for a candidate to work within our butchery unit assisting with raw meat butchery tasks, for example making burgers and sausages, as well as some packing and labelling. You will be trained and guided by our extremely experienced butchers and not part of a production line. We may also need some driving/ deliveries to be made particularly in busy times and for holiday cover.

Working as part of a small team, flexibility & being able to adapt within the role during working day is vital.
What we are looking for:
· Full, clean, UK Driver’s license essential ( must be over 21 )
· Job can be physically demanding and you need to be able to lift heavy items and stand for extended period of time
· Knife skills advantageous although not essential
· We require a good level of spoken English as well as reading and writing skills as completing Health & Safety tasks and following instruction is essential
-Ensure food safety and hygiene regulations are strictly followed
Pay: From £14.00 per hour
