About the Role
We are currently recruiting for a dedicated and experienced
Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) to join a well-established private mental health hospital in Dewsbury as a
Deputy Ward Manager.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated nurse ready to take the next step into leadership, supporting the Ward Manager in delivering high-quality, patient-centred care within a structured and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Ward Manager in the day-to-day running of the ward
- Lead, motivate and develop a team of nursing staff
- Ensure the delivery of safe, effective and high-quality patient care
- Oversee care planning, risk assessments and clinical documentation
- Maintain compliance with CQC standards and internal policies
- Act as a role model and provide clinical leadership on shift
Requirements
- Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with an active NMC pin
- Previous experience in a mental health inpatient setting
- Leadership or senior nurse experience (e.g. Charge Nurse / Deputy level preferred)
- Strong clinical knowledge and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Commitment to delivering patient-focused care
