People & Culture Coordinator
Purpose: To provide operational support to the People & Culture team on all aspects of the employee lifecycle. The role will have a clear focus on delivering high quality people administration across the company whilst helping to deliver a friendly and effective people-focused service.
Reporting To: People & Culture Manager
Working Hours & Location:
- Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm based in our Hemel Hempstead Head Office.
- Hybrid working arrangement, with the opportunity to work from home one day per week following successful completion of the induction period.
Responsibilities:
Onboarding & Recruitment Administration
- Accurately prepare and issue offer letters, employment contracts, and new-joiner packs.
- Coordinate onboarding logistics, including orientation scheduling, background checks, and right-to-work/visa verifications.
- Collating interview packs for hiring managers during the recruitment stages and ensuring that completed packs are received before job offers are issued.
- Tracking probationary periods and preparing the relevant documentation.
Data & Record Keeping
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date, and confidential employee records in the company HRS (e.g., CIPHR) including new joiner set-ups.
- Process changes in employment, such as promotions, salary adjustments, and leavers.
- Administering exit processes.
- Generate regular and ad-hoc reports regarding holidays, absence and performance metrics etc.
- Partner with Payroll and deliver timely reports to ensure Payroll data is processed correctly.
- Archiving of People documents in keeping with ISO 27001.
Employee Support & Operations
- Serve as the first point of contact for employees and managers regarding routine people support requests (e.g., benefits, system queries, location of documents, references etc).
- Administer employee benefits (e.g., holiday purchasing, EV salary sacrifice etc) and assist with enrolment processes.
- To manage the administration of all employee recognition and anniversary rewards in a timely manner.
- To provide notetaking support for employee relation matters and support on coordinating casepacks.
- To escalate employee relations matters to the Advisory Lead/People & Culture Manager/Director where necessary.
- To support on ad-hoc People & Culture projects as and when required.

Qualifications and experience:
Your areas of knowledge and expertise that matter most:
- CIPD Level 3 certified or working towards.
- HR experience or experience in People administration.
- High-level proficiency in HR systems.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Working knowledge of UK-GDPR and Right to Work
